Work for us
Why work here?
We're a leading NHS Foundation Trust hospital serving more than 400,000 people across north-east Hampshire, west Surrey and east Berkshire, although our catchment for some services such as emergency vascular and heart attacks is much wider.
We were named as Hospital Trust of the Year runner up in the Dr Foster Hospital Guide 2012 and Trust of the Year for the South of England in 2013. We're also only one of a handful of trusts to achieve NHSLA level 3 safety ratings for both acute trust and maternity services.
Following our recent inspection by the healthcare watchdog, the Care Quality Commission, their report remarked upon the Trust's impressive leadership, passion for excellence, teamwork, learning culture, happy and dedicated workforce and warm and sensitive interactions between staff and patients.
We're really proud of these achievements and you could be a part of this success. Additionally, as one of the biggest employers in Surrey Heath, we have a great range of job and career opportunities as well as offering the relevant training and development to support you. This isn't just with respect to the clinical areas though- we also have excellent opportunities in the non clinical and support areas within the Trust.
Overall though, it doesn't matter which area you're employed in. What matters is that as a member of our friendly, caring and professional staff you'll want to focus on providing – directly or indirectly- the best possible hospital experience for our patients. Not only will you feel rewarded by the satisfaction this brings, you'll experience a great feeling of being part of a team where you all identify with our 3 core values which are;
• Committed to Excellence
• Working together
• Facing the Future
Staff are proud of working here and this is reflected in the results of the most recent national NHS staff survey carried out at the end of 2013. Staff here rated us as being in the top 20% of all Acute Trusts nationally in 17 of the 28 key findings in the survey. These included
• Effective team working
• Their training and development
• Communications between senior management and staff
• Job satisfaction
• Their motivation at work
Last but not least as part of the above was their strong recommendation of Frimley Park as a place to work or receive treatment.
