Big hearted football club boosts appeal

Players and supporters of Windlesham Football Club have handed over a cheque for £1,100 to boost an appeal for funds to equip their local hospital's new heart attack centre.
The club had organised a charity football day in memory of their manager Colin (Ginger) Annals to raise money for his favourite charity, Frimley Park Hospital's Heart 2 Heart Appeal.

A Camberley yachtsman has put some wind in the sails of a hospital appeal with a donation of more than £3,000.
Jerry Sandys, aged 55, raised the money in sponsorship after completing his lifelong ambition to cross the Atlantic. He presented the money to Frimley Park Hospital's Heart 2 Heart Appeal which is aiming to fund equipment for a new gold-standard service for heart attack patients.

PR guru Max Clifford stepped in to provide an £8,000 boost to a charity ball for a life-saving heart-attack centre.
The Heart 2 Heart Rhythm of Life Ball at Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot was raising money towards an appeal to equip a heart attack centre at Frimley Park Hospital.

A charity fair at Lakeside Country Club was a big success, raising £6,000 for the Frimley Park Hospital Heart 2 Heart Appeal.
Darts marathon for CCU

A 24-hour darts marathon has raised £3,043.80 for Frimley Park's coronary care unit (CCU).
Members of Yateley Cricket Club's ladies' darts team took part in the marathon event at the club, organised by Trace Dyos, back in June.

Golf club's donation help's Frimley Park's children's ward
The Army Golf Club in Aldershot has donated £2,125 to Frimley Park Hospital's children's ward.
Club captains Mark Smith and Annie Green visited the ward last week to hand over their cheque to ward manager Sally Martin and were taken on a tour of the children's ward and teenage unit.
