Audiology
The audiology department delivers a comprehensive adult diagnostic and rehabilitative service. As well as general audiology service, the department also delivers specialist services including bone anchored hearing aids.
The audiology department is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and sees patients referred from GPs and the ear, nose and throat department.
Hearing Aid Adjustment and Repair Clinics:
- You can book up to 2 weeks in advance to see an Audiologist.
- For retubing ONLY please request to see a volunteer. Retubing appointments can be booked up to 3 months in advance.

There is no volunteer service for retubing available at Fleet Hospital.

Drop-off Hearing Aid Repairs
Patients can leave their hearing aids at the Audiology Reception Desk for repair. We endeavour to repair dropped-off hearing aids within 5 – 7 working days and will call the patient to inform them when it is ready for collection.
Hearing Aid Batteries
Batteries are supplied at the Audiology Reception Desk during office hours and from the Hospital Main Reception Desk after hours. Please note that we can only supply one packet of batteries per hearing aid.
Postal Batteries
Patients can post their battery booklets to the Audiology Department at Frimley Park Hospital with an enclosed, stamped envelope for return. Please enclose a LARGE postage stamp.
